2026 Lexus LC 500

2026 Lexus
LC 500

Lexus keeps the LC focused for 2026 by saying farewell to the LC 500h hybrid while still offering the robust power of a naturally aspirated V8 engine. With a zero-to-60-mph time of just 4.4 seconds, this flagship coupe roars into the new model year. Most significantly, the Inspiration Series has been reintroduced for the LC coupe in a limited North American run of 200 units. Lexus has also expanded standard technology by including Intuitive Parking Assist, a semi-autonomous parking system, on this grand tourer. In addition, a refreshed exterior palette adds Smoke Matte Gray to the list of choices.

Trim and Powertrain

The LC 500 coupe comes in a single premium trim package. It’s outfitted with a 471-horsepower 5.0-liter engine linked to rear wheels via a ten-speed automatic transmission. The advanced gearbox is managed through a center console shift knob or steering wheel-mounted magnesium paddles. The engine audibly comes to life through a tuned active exhaust, giving the LC its throaty note and engaging character. According to the EPA’s official estimations, the fuel economy is 16 mpg around town and 24 mpg on the highway.

Standard Features and Optional Packages

The LC’s grand tourer platform is reinforced by an adaptive variable suspension, a drive-mode selector, aluminum pedals, and performance-inspired instrumentation. Leather upholstery underscores the luxury factor, as do heated and ventilated front seats with eight-way power control, a glass roof with a sunshade, and LED exterior lighting. The LC is also equipped with dual-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry, push-button ignition, USB ports, and 21-inch staggered-width alloy wheels.

The model’s optional groupings include the All-Weather Package (a heated steering wheel and a windshield wiper de-icer); the Touring Package (semi-aniline leather upholstery, an Alcantara headliner, upgraded audio, and the All-Weather Package); and the Sport Package (Alcantara-trimmed front and rear sport seats, rear performance dampers, a Torsen limited-slip differential, and performance brake pads). The Dynamic Handling Package adds active rear steering, variable gear-ratio steering, a speed-activated rear wing, an Alcantara headliner, a carbon-fiber roof, and carbon-fiber scuff plates. For LC buyers looking for an even more unique ride, the Lexus Bespoke Build program offers tailored selections (wheels, sport seats, a carbon-fiber roof, and exterior and interior treatments) along with an interior badge and certificate of authenticity.

The 2026 LC 500 Inspiration Series layers in Smoke Matte Gray paint, a carbon-fiber roof, forged 21-inch matte black wheels, and blacked-out exterior accents. Inside, white-and-black styling sets the tone, while the equipment list grows with active rear steering, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, upgraded audio, special scuff plates, front bumper canards, a carbon-fiber rear fixed spoiler, red brake calipers, and an exclusive center-console badge.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

The LC hosts the comprehensive Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 with forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, adaptive cruise control with lane-tracing assist, road sign recognition, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, parking sensors, semi-autonomous parking assistance, and a surround-view monitor are also on the list. The fundamental safety equipment for this elegant coupe includes eight airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, and a rearview monitor with dynamic guidelines.

Infotainment and Connectivity

A 12.3-inch touchscreen defines the LC 500’s infotainment system. This platform has wireless smartphone connectivity (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and access to Lexus Connected Services for cloud-based navigation, emergency help, and remote functions. The default audio scenario has 12 speakers, while the Touring Package and Inspiration Series options upgrade to a 13-speaker Mark Levinson setup.
