RX 350

The Lexus RX 350 has returned for 2025 with a new trim, giving the company’s best-selling vehicle greater appeal in the highly competitive luxury midsized crossover segment. The F Sport Design edition takes its athletic styling cues from the top-tier F Sport Handling but retains the Premium trim's comfort-oriented suspension tuning. Sporty exterior accents, 21-inch gloss black wheels, and F Sport-themed interior treatments help this debuting trim level stand out.

At the same time, the two-row RX 350 continues to offer a winning combination of luxury amenities and everyday utility. It’s a proven formula that has worked throughout five model generations. Today’s RX is defined by turbocharged power and refined driving dynamics merged with premium materials and advanced safety technology.

This overview highlights the conventionally powered 2025 Lexus RX 350. The hybrid (RX 350h), plug-in hybrid (RX 450h+), and performance hybrid (RX 500h) versions are covered separately.

Trims and Powertrains

Lexus offers six versions of the 2025 RX 350: Standard, Premium, F Sport Design, Premium+, Luxury, and F Sport Handling. Powering every trim is a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine making 275 horsepower. An eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters manages the standard front-wheel drive (FWD). All-wheel drive (AWD) is optional on all but the F Sport Handling edition, which gets it standard.

Cargo space begins at 29.6 cubic feet behind the second row and expands to 46.2 cubic feet when the back seats are folded. A properly equipped RX 350 can tow up to 3,500 pounds. With FWD, the RX 350 is EPA-rated for 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. With AWD, the ratings change to 21 mpg around town and 28 mpg on the highway.

Standard Features

There’s no such thing as a “base” RX 350, as the entry-level Standard trim is well equipped with NuLuxe leatherette upholstery, heated front seats with eight-way power control, a power tailgate, multi-zone automatic climate control, and a power tilt-and-telescopic steering column. Lexus also includes LED fog lights, a 12.3-inch driver information display, ambient cabin lighting, six USB ports, a cargo cover, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The options for the Standard trim include a power moonroof and a heated steering wheel.

The Premium adds a power moonroof, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel with wood and leather trim, a driver’s memory system, a windshield wiper de-icer, aluminum roof rails, and wireless device charging. The F Sport Design starts with the equipment of the Premium and adds F Sport exterior treatments, black-finished roof rails and side-view mirrors, and 21-inch alloy wheels with a gloss-black finish.

The Premium+ has additional amenities above the Premium that include leather upholstery, an enhanced climate control system, theme-based ambient cabin lighting, and 21-inch wheels. The Premium+ is available with a panorama glass roof. The Luxury trim takes the RX 350 further upscale with semi-aniline leather upholstery, a panorama glass roof, ten-way power front seats with lumbar controls, heated and ventilated power rear seats, Ultrasuede-trimmed door panels, triple-beam LED headlights, and a head-up display.

The F Sport Handling trim starts with the equipment roster from the F Sport Design and adds an adaptive variable suspension, six-piston front brake calipers, bolstered front seats, and a head-up display. This edition also has F Sport-themed interior treatments, trim-specific exterior accents, unique instrumentation, enhanced climate control, Ultrasuede-trimmed door panels, aluminum pedals, theme-based ambient cabin lighting, and exclusive 21-inch wheels. A digital key is optional on all RX trims.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

The standard Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 includes a pre-collision management system with pedestrian detection and intersection support, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, adaptive cruise control, road sign assist, safe exit assist, and automatic high beams. Parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking are also standard. A surround-view monitor is optional on the Premium and higher trims, while the Premium+, Luxury, and F Sport Handling trims can be equipped with semi-autonomous parking support. The model’s other safety equipment includes a set of ten airbags, stability control, traction control, SmartStop (to prevent unintended acceleration), and a rearview monitor.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The Standard, Premium, and F Sport Design have a 9.8-inch touchscreen for managing their infotainment array. The higher trims get a 14-inch touchscreen, which is optional on the Premium and F Sport Design. Both platforms have wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM satellite radio. The other standard amenities include Wi-Fi hotspot capability and access to cloud-based navigation, Lexus connected services (for emergency help, vehicle monitoring, and remote functions), and the Lexus app (for remote start and other features). All trims have a 12-speaker audio system, which can be upgraded to a 21-speaker Mark Levinson system in the Premium+, Luxury, and F Sport Handling.
