Lexus Complimentary Maintenance

Bringing your vehicle in for service shouldn’t take everything out of you. Every new Lexus comes with complimentary first and second scheduled maintenance services. These services are provided at 6 months/5,000 miles and 12 months/10,000 miles, whichever comes first. * Regular service on your vehicle will help you get the best level of performance, safety, reliability and even resale value down the road. When the complimentary service runs out, continuing service at recommended intervals at a Lexus dealership ensures the highest-quality parts and repairs along with competitive prices. And since it’s all done under one roof, we can save you time, too.

Another benefit of taking your vehicle to a Lexus dealership is that all your service information is stored in the Lexus National Service History database and can be accessed by any Lexus dealership in the United States. Did you have an oil change in San Francisco and your brakes changed in Seattle? If service was completed at a Lexus Dealership, our Certified Technicians will know of any past or pending service records, so your vehicle won’t miss a thing.

*Please note that oil changes are performed every 10K miles, except for vehicles using non-synthetic oil, which are performed every 5K miles. See your Warranty and Services Guide for details.

6MO / 5K MI

  • This service is normally covered under warranty if done within 6 months or 5,000 miles.
  • Rotate tires and adjust tire pressures as required
  • Reset maintenance reminder light
  • Road-test vehicle
  • Check installation of driver’s floor mat**
  • Inspect and adjust all fluid levels
  • Program Lexus Personalized Settings***, if requested
  • Visually inspect brake pads, calipers and rotors

12MO / 10K MI

  • This service is normally covered under warranty if done within 12 months or 10,000 miles.
  • Replace engine oil and oil filter (0W-20)
  • Rotate tires and adjust tire pressures as required
  • Reset maintenance reminder light
  • Road test vehicle
  • Check installation of driver’s floor mat**
  • Visually inspect brake pads, calipers and rotors
  • This service is complimentary when performed by an authorized Lexus dealership.

L/Certified by Lexus

To keep your L/Certified by Lexus vehicle running in optimum condition, Lexus offers a complimentary scheduled maintenance program for L/Certified vehicles. The program begins upon purchase of your L/Certified vehicle and includes your next four scheduled maintenance service visits within 2 years or 20,000 miles (whichever comes first).

**This floor mat was designed specifically for use in your model and model year vehicle and SHOULD NOT be used in any other vehicle. To avoid potential interference with pedal operation, each mat must be secured with its fasteners. Do not install a floor mat on top of an existing floor mat
***The Lexus Personalized Settings (LPS) can be programmed in two ways: For most models equipped with the available Navigation System, the driver can modify the settings themselves; for other models, including those without a Navigation System, programming is done by your Lexus dealer via a one-time, complimentary offer during the first 12 months from the date the vehicle is sold.
