Trims, Powertrain, and Fuel Efficiency

The 2025 Lexus UX Hybrid, also known as the UX 300h, rolls off the assembly line in four elegant trims: Base, Premium, F Sport Design, and F Sport Handling. As mentioned, it has as its powertrain the fifth-generation Lexus Hybrid System, which consists of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and two electric motors 9total system output: 196 hp). This setup is served by an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (eCVT); front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional. A FWD ’25 UX Hybrid returns an EPA-rated 45 mpg in town and 41 mpg on the highway, with the AWD version rated for 44 city/40 highway.

Standard Equipment

The Base UX 300h is well equipped with proximity keyless entry, heated side mirrors, push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a 7-inch multi-information display, a drive-mode selector (Eco, Normal, and Sport), roof rails, bi-LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and taillights, a 60/40-split folding rear seatback, a folding tonneau cover, and an adjustable cargo deckboard. The Premium adds heated and ventilated front seats, rain-sensing wipers, a power hands-free liftgate, a moonroof, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, a 12.3-inch multi-information display, and illuminated entry.

While the F Sport Design goes without the auto-dimming rearview mirror and hands-free liftgate, it gets a more athletic appearance, plus LED fog lights and cornering lights, Digital Key, and the SmartAccess key card. The auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink and hands-free liftgate are returned in the F Sport Handling. On top of that, this top-spec UX 300h receives power-folding side mirrors with reverse gear tilt-down and driver’s side auto-dimming, sport-bolstered front seats, a perforated leather-wrapped heated steering wheel with paddle shifters, aluminum kick plates and door-sill scuff plates, position memory settings (for the driver’s seat and side mirrors), active sound control, and three additional drive modes: Sport S, Sport S+, and Custom.

Advanced Safety Features

All four ’25 UX Hybrid trims have the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 suite installed, adding automatic high beams, a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection and intersection support, lane tracing assist, lane departure alert with steering assist, road sign assist, all-speed dynamic radar cruise control with curve speed management, and proactive driving assist. Beyond that, each trim gets blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit alert, and proactive parking assist. Intuitive Parking Assist is optional for the Base and standard in the remaining trims, allowing you to effortlessly park your UX Hybrid with the push of a button.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The Base, Premium, and F Sport Design each come with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring connected navigation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, and a six-speaker audio system. The F Sport Handling gets the loaded version of the multimedia system, with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 10-speaker sound system.

Available Upgrades

UX Hybrids with the Cold Area Package added will get a windshield wiper de-icer; the Premium and F Sport Design will also get a heated steering wheel when this option is added (the F Sport Handling already has it as a standard feature). There’s also a selection of standalone options, such as an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a color head-up display, wireless phone charging, Intuitive Parking Assist, a hands-free liftgate, a moonroof, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, Digital Key, and the SmartAccess key card.
