Trims and Powertrains

The 2025 Lexus RZ is available in two core editions, the RZ 300e and RZ 450e. Each is offered in three trims: Base, Premium, and Luxury. The RZ 300e is front-wheel drive only and uses a single electric motor producing 201 horsepower. A 72.8-kWh lithium-ion battery powers the system. Its maximum estimated driving range is 266 miles with 18-inch wheels and 224 miles with 20-inch wheels. Lexus estimates acceleration from zero to 60 mph in 7.4 seconds.

The RZ 450e has all-wheel drive, with two electric motors delivering a combined 308 horsepower. A 71.4-kWh lithium-ion battery powers this version. The estimated driving range is 220 miles with 18-inch wheels and 196 miles with 20-inch wheels. This edition can reach 60 mph in 5.0 seconds.

Charging times vary by method. Level 3/DC fast charging can replenish the battery to 80 percent in about 30 to 35 minutes. Level 2 (240-volt) charging requires approximately 9.5 hours to reach full charge. With all seats up, the RZ has 34.1 cubic feet of cargo space (34.9 cubic feet with the available panoramic glass roof).

Standard Features

The Base RZ has NuLuxe leatherette upholstery, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a ten-way power driver’s seat, an eight-way power front passenger seat, and a heated steering wheel. It also comes with LED exterior lighting with automatic headlamps, paddle shifters, a SmartAccess card key, auto-dimming side mirrors (with an auto tilt-down feature in reverse), rain-sensing windshield wipers, wireless device charging, five USB ports, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The Premium adds heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic glass roof, a hands-free tailgate, a driver’s memory system, a power tilt-and-telescopic steering column, ambient cabin lighting, and a rearview camera washer. The Luxury builds on the Premium with Ultrasuede-trimmed seats, a front radiant heater, heated rear outboard seats, a 10-inch head-up display, sound-reducing glass for the front and rear side windows, a digital key, enhanced interior illumination, exclusive cabin accents, and 20-inch alloy wheels.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

All 2025 RZ editions have the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 installed. This suite features a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit assist, adaptive cruise control, road sign assist, and automatic high beams. The Premium and Luxury have a surround-view monitor, front and rear parking sensors, and low-speed automatic braking. The Luxury also has lane change assist, front cross-traffic alert, traffic jam assist, and hands-free automatic parking. A set of nine airbags is also standard, along with anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, Smart Stop Technology (to minimize unintended acceleration), and a rearview monitor.

Infotainment and Connectivity

Every RZ showcases a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system supported by the Lexus Interface platform. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, and cloud-based navigation are standard across the trim range. The Base and Premium come with a ten-speaker Lexus Premium audio system, while the Luxury upgrades to a 13-speaker Mark Levinson surround-sound system. Every RZ comes with trial subscriptions to a Wi-Fi hotspot and Lexus Connected Services (including Safety Connect, Service Connect, Remote Connect, and Drive Connect).
