The 2025 Lexus LX 600 continues to set the standard for full-sized luxury SUVs, with its compelling blend of refined on-road performance and robust off-road capabilities. The LX 600 carries forward with several enhancements to improve ride comfort, handling, and safety. Most notably, the body-on-frame cab mount cushions have been redesigned to reduce low-frequency vibrations, resulting in a quieter, smoother ride and increased durability.
For 2025, has made active height control and an adaptive variable suspension standard across all trims, for the ultimate on-road composure and off-road prowess. The ten-speed automatic transmission has also been fine-tuned, with optimized gear ratios and quicker shift times that make for a more responsive and refined drive. Safety remains a top priority, with an upgraded suite of advanced driver-assistance features, including emergency steering assist, left-turn oncoming vehicle detection and braking, and improved adaptive cruise control. A head-up display, full-sized spare tire, and wireless device charging are now standard as well.

Premium, Luxury, and F Sport Handling are the three trim packages for the 2025 LX 600. A twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 engine (output: 409 horsepower and 479 lb.-ft. of torque) forms the powertrain with a ten-speed automatic transmission. Every trim has full-time all-wheel-drive. Across the board, the EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings are 17 mpg around town and 22 mpg on the open road.
When the LX 600 is properly equipped, it can tow up to 8,000 pounds. With all seats in use, there is 11.0 cubic feet of space in the cargo area, but that can be increased to 44 cubic feet with the third row folded flat. If the second row isn’t needed for passengers, it too can be flattened, resulting in a total of 64 cubic feet of available cargo space.
The LX 600 Premium trim has seven-passenger seating (with a power-folding third-row bench) and a capable and comfortable ride due to standard active height control and an adaptive variable suspension. It’s hard to think of it as a base trim since it’s so loaded with excellent amenities, such as leather upholstery, a power moonroof, heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, heated second-row outboard seats, a heated leather-trimmed steering wheel, a driver’s position memory system, a power tilt-and-telescopic steering column, an automatic door closer, a head-up display, a hands-free power liftgate, and a cooled storage compartment. Also standard are LED exterior lighting, a 12.3-inch digital driver information display, open-pore wood trim, second-row sunshades, headlamp washers, a windshield wiper de-icer, heated side mirrors, ambient cabin lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a digital key, wireless device charging, six USB ports, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
The Luxury trim enhances the Premium with semi-aniline leather upholstery, massaging front seats, heated and ventilated second-row outboard seats, a heated wood-and-leather-trimmed steering wheel, one-touch power-folding rear seats, illuminated door sills, a digital rearview mirror, and 22-inch forged alloy wheels. The F Sport Handling adds more dynamic characteristics and unique exterior styling. In addition to the Luxury trim’s roster of equipment, it gets a tuned suspension, a Torsen limited-slip differential, a rear stabilizer bar, performance dampers, trim-specific semi-aniline leather upholstery and other accents, massaging front seats, heated and ventilated second-row outboard seats, illuminated door sills, a digital rearview mirror, and 22-inch forged alloy wheels.
All LX trims have the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 suite of advanced driver aids. These technologies include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, pedestrian/cyclist/motorcyclist detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, adaptive cruise control with lane-tracing assist, traffic sign recognition, proactive driving assist (for improved distance control), emergency steering assist, and left-turn oncoming vehicle detection and braking. All trims also have blind-spot monitoring, front and rear cross-traffic alerts, traffic jam assist, a surround-view monitor, a multi-terrain monitor, and parking sensors with automatic braking. The Luxury and F Sport Handling also receive semi-autonomous parking support. Every trim is equipped with airbags, antilock brakes, stability control, traction control, crawl control with turn assist, downhill assist control, and a rearview monitor.
A 12.3-inch touchscreen serves as the infotainment hub for the 2025 LX 600. The system has wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM satellite radio. In addition, access is provided to cloud-based navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot, connected services (including emergency help, vehicle monitoring, and remote features), and the Lexus smartphone app. A ten-speaker sound system is standard on the Premium, while the higher trims have a 25-speaker Mark Levinson arrangement.
