The 2025 Lexus ES 300h is a front-wheel-drive gas-electric sedan that’s available in five trim levels: the base ES 300h, ES 300h Luxury, ES 300h Ultra Luxury, ES 300h F Sport Design, and the ES 300h F Sport Handling. They all have the same 215-horsepower gas-electric powertrain made up of a 2.5-liter inline-four engine paired with Lexus Hybrid Drive and an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (ECVT). Fuel economy remains a strong suit for the ES 300h, with EPA-estimated ratings of 43 mpg in the city and 44 mpg on the highway.
The base ES 300h comes well equipped with NuLuxe perforated leatherette upholstery, a power moonroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, ten-way power front seats, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, LED exterior lighting, ECVT paddle shifters, six USB ports, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Luxury trim is upgraded with semi-aniline leather upholstery, a heated wood- and leather-trimmed steering wheel, a 14-way power driver’s seat with a power cushion extender, wood cabin trim with ambient lighting, a power rear sunshade, a windshield wiper de-icer, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The ES 300h Ultra Luxury raises the luxury factor even more with performance dampers, a head-up display, manual rear-door sunshades, a power trunk with a kick sensor, and 18-inch noise-reduction wheels (alloy).
The F Sport Design trim, which is equipped similarly to the base 300h, brings a sportier aesthetic with a unique front fascia and other exterior treatments, a rear spoiler, and 19-inch gloss-black alloy wheels. This trim package also includes heated and ventilated front seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, a driver’s memory system, a power tilt-and-telescopic steering column, power-folding side mirrors (with auto reverse tilt-down), rain-sensing windshield wipers, and wireless device charging. At the top of the range, the ES 300h F Sport Handling trim includes all F Sport Design features and adds bolstered F SPORT front seats (heated and ventilated), an adaptive variable suspension with performance dampers, customizable drive modes, aluminum cabin accents, performance-inspired instrumentation, and active cabin noise control.
The Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 is installed in every 2025 ES Hybrid. This suite of advanced driver assistance technologies incorporates a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, adaptive cruise control, and intelligent high beams. The Luxury trim and above get parking sensors with automatic low-speed braking. The Ultra Luxury grade adds a surround-view monitor and rear pedestrian detection.
The ES 300h features the Lexus Interface infotainment system with an 8.0-inch touchscreen, which can be upgraded to a 12.3-inch touchscreen on higher trims (and comes standard with the Ultra Luxury). The platform supports wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay integration, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Bluetooth. A 10-speaker sound system comes standard, with an optional Mark Levinson 17-speaker arrangement available on higher trims. The ES 300h also includes access to a Wi-Fi hotspot and several Lexus connected services such as Safety Connect, Service Connect, and Remote Connect, each with complimentary trial periods.
