Powertrain, Fuel Economy, and Towing

The 2024 Lexus NX 350h is sold in a single trim that’s whisked into action by a hybrid system pairing a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with two electric motors. Together, they generate an output of 240 hp. Completing this hybrid powertrain is an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (eCVT) and standard all-wheel drive. The NX 350h’s fuel economy reaches 41 mpg around town and 37 mpg on the open road, according to the EPA’s official estimations. It can handle up to 2,000 lb. of towing, too, which is enough to accommodate a small trailer or boat.

Standard Amenities

In line with its lavish standing, the ’24 NX 350h is outfitted with an array of fancy features. You’ll notice LED headlights and daytime running lights on the outside, along with heated exterior mirrors with driver’s-side auto-dimming and reverse gear tilt-down, roof rails, proximity keyless entry (SmartAccess), and dark-gray machine-finished 18-inch wheels. The interior features include push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, NuLuxe synthetic-leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and a 7-inch multi-information display. The default infotainment system combines a 9.8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, a Wi-Fi hotspot, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a 10-speaker audio system.

Advanced Safety Equipment

The Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 suite is standard in the ’24 NX 350h. This stable of active driving aids raises driver confidence and overall safety with intelligent high beams, a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection and intersection support, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, road sign assist, and all-speed dynamic radar cruise control with curve speed management. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard, too.

Packages and Individual Options

A handful of elegant upgrades are available for the ’24 NX 350h. The Premium Package will add ventilated front seats, a hands-free liftgate, position memory (for the driver’s seat, side mirrors, and steering wheel), Black Prism interior trim, a moonroof, a power tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, and intuitive parking assist with automatic braking. The Luxury Package bundles all of that plus perforated leather upholstery with exclusive seat quilting, a 10-inch head-up display, door courtesy lights, open-pore wood interior décor, thematic ambient interior lighting, an adaptive front lighting system, and a deluxe infotainment system with a 14-inch touchscreen and a three-year trial to Drive Connect (which includes Cloud Navigation, Intelligent Assistant voice recognition, and Destination Assist).

Several of those desirable items are offered as a la carte options as well. Those who order the ’24 NX Hybrid can also elect to add a panoramic glass roof, a heated steering wheel, a fast-response interior heater, a deluxe Mark Levinson sound system with 17 speakers, power-folding 60/40-split heated rear seats, washer-integrated triple-beam LED headlights with cornering lamps, a windshield wiper de-icer, wireless phone charging, a digital rearview mirror, and Digital Key. The optional driver-assist features are Advanced Park (Lexus’ automatic parking system), a surround-view monitor, lane change assist, and front cross-traffic alert.
