Base

The most prominent among the base UX 250h’s standard amenities are LED exterior lights, roof rails, heated side mirrors, proximity entry (SmartAccess) with push-button and remote ignition, power-adjustable front seats, selectable drive modes (Eco, EV, Normal, and Sport), a 7-inch gauge cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a 60/40-split folding rear seatback, and an adjustable cargo deckboard and folding tonneau cover. If you’re ordering this trim but want more luxuries, you can add on a heated steering wheel, a windshield wiper de-icer, a wireless phone charger, a head-up display, and active parking assist.

The brand-new Lexus Interface infotainment system is standard as well. It’s based around an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth, and an audio system with six speakers. With the available Drive Connect subscription, the UX 250h will receive cloud navigation, destination assist, and Intelligent Assistant with natural voice recognition.

As the entry-level UX Hybrid, it comes with Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 for intelligent high beams, a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane tracing assist, lane departure alert with steering assist, road sign assist, all-speed dynamic radar cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. What’s more, you’ll get a trial subscription to Safety Connect, which provides access to a variety of emergency services, plus Service Connect which allows owners to view important vehicle health reports and maintenance reminders.

Premium

The Premium gains a few perks of note, such as a moonroof, rain-sensing wipers, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, a power-operated liftgate, and heated and ventilated front seats.

F Sport Design

The F Sport Design doesn’t get the auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, power liftgate, or heated/ventilated front seats, although those features can be added as options (minus the HomeLink universal remote). This trim looks different with its distinctive exterior styling elements in the form of unique front and rear bumpers, blacked-out accents (including the roof, roof rails, and grille), LED fog lights and cornering lights, and special 18-inch wheels.

F Sport Handling

While the F Sport Handling adds the auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink and the heated/ventilated front seats as standard features, the power liftgate remains optional. This top-line also gets performance-enhancing attributes like an adaptive variable suspension, sport bolstered front seats, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, an 8-inch gauge cluster with performance-inspired instrumentation, aluminum pedals, active sound control, and a Sport+ drive mode. It also offers additional luxury with power-folding side mirrors with reverse gear tilt-down and driver’s-side auto-dimming, Digital Key (this technology lets you unlock, lock, and start the vehicle using your smartphone), a perforated leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, doorsill scuff plates, and position memory for the driver’s seat. To top it off, the F Sport Handling is equipped with a wonderful multimedia system that includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 10-speaker audio system, both of which are options for the Premium.
