Get to Know: Balise Lexus Sales Consultant, Ed Ladika

When you think of Balise Lexus, you may think of long time employees Marc Thompson and Ed Ladika. You’ve already met the part-time hiker full-time sales consultant, Marc. Now, it’s time we introduce you to one of his closest friends, Ed.

Judging by his quiet demeanor, you probably don’t know that Ed Ladika moonlighted as a wedding singer when he was in college. You may also not know that he has been a part of the Balise Lexus team for 25 years a permanent fixture in the DNA of the dealership. He would never brag about this accomplishment, but Balise sure will.

Ed joined Balise Lexus when it opened in 1990, the year Mariah Carey won the Grammy for Best New Artist and gas prices were just above a dollar. He transferred from Balise Mitsubishi where he began his career in the car industry. In the 25 years since, Balise Lexus has become Ed’s second home.

All this time, Ed’s goal remained constant deliver top notch service to each individual that walks through the Balise Lexus doors. Ed is able to provide customers with a familiar face and great comfort when looking for a car. To him, comfort is key.

“Balise Lexus does what we set out to do make customers feel like guests in our home,” says Ed.

This is one of the reasons why Balise Lexus offers complimentary food and beverages for guests while their car is being serviced.

Exceptional service is what keeps customers coming back year after year, and of course, looking for Ed’s genuine and reassuring smile. The joy of providing comfort to clients is Ed’s favorite part of his job.

“I still find it very fulfilling when I know I have helped a customer through the process of purchasing a vehicle, whether it is their 1st or 12th Lexus,” notes Ed.

His favorite Lexus to sell is the RX350. Both Ed and customers alike believe the crossover SUV is the “bread and butter the most popular” vehicle in the Lexus lineup.

Although Ed loves his time at Balise Lexus, his life outside of the dealership includes fine-dining and spending time with friends and family.
