Trims and Powertrains

The 2024 NX comes in three trim versions: 250, 350, and 350 F Sport Handling. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine making 203 horsepower serves the 250, while a 275-horsepower turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder powerplant moves the two 350 trims. A front-wheel-drive (FWD) arrangement is standard for the 250, while all-wheel-drive (AWD) is an option for that trim and standard issue on the 350 and 350 F Sport Handling. An eight-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters is the sole gearbox offered.

The NX 350 can tow up to 2,000 pounds when it is properly equipped. In FWD form, the NX 250 is EPA-estimated to return 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. With AWD, the 250 gets 25 mpg around town and 32 mpg on the open road. The 350 is rated to achieve 21 city/28 highway.

Standard Features and Major Options

Some of the most desirable standard features of the 2024 NX 250 are proximity keyless entry, Bi-LED headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a 7-inch driver information display, roof rails, heated power side mirrors with driver-side auto-dimming, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The seating situation consists of NuLuxe upholstery and heated eight-way power front seats with lumbar controls for the driver.

The 350 gets everything listed for the 250, plus active noise and sound controls. The 350 F Sport Handling provides the ultimate experience with an adaptive variable suspension, performance shock absorbers, front seats with enhanced bolsters, a head-up display, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and 20-inch alloy wheels.

The Premium Package is offered to upgrade the NX 250 and mid-grade NX 350 (there’s a separate upgrade package for the NX 350 F Sport Handling) with a power moonroof, a hands-free power tailgate, ventilated front seats, a driver’s memory system, a power tilt/telescopic steering column, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and additional driver-assist technologies (detailed in the Advanced Driver Aids section). The Luxury Package starts with the Premium Package’s contents and adds perforated leather-trimmed seating, upgraded driver’s-side lumbar controls, adaptive headlights (which move in tandem with the steering wheel movement), a head-up display, open-pore wood accents, and some infotainment upgrades (as detailed in the Infotainment and Connectivity section). Some additional features of the NX 350 F Sport Handling Luxury Package include a power moonroof or panoramic roof, a hands-free liftgate, F Sport-themed front seats with ventilation, a driver’s memory system, and the loaded version of the driver-assist suite.
