2021 Lexus NX Hybrid for Sale in West Springfield, MA
The 2021 Lexus NX Hybrid is a five-passenger luxury compact crossover that seamlessly blends comfort, style, and efficiency in an upscale package. Not all that long ago, luxury vehicles were often too expensive for anyone outside of the elite class to justify purchasing. Today, this reality has changed, as the ’21 NX Hybrid boasts a price tag that’s rather economical considering everything it comes with. For model year ’21, the NX Hybrid receives standard blind-spot monitoring and auto-dimming side mirrors. Plus, an ultra-stylish F Sport Black Line Special Edition trim level has been added to the lineup.
Trims and Powertrain
The ’21 NX Hybrid is available in 300h, Luxury, and F Sport Black Line Special Edition trim levels. Each gets a hybrid system that’s comprised of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric motor system that produces a total system output of 194 hp. It’s mated to an electronically-controlled continuously variable transmission (ECVT) with paddle shifters that sends power to the all-wheel drivetrain. Based on EPA estimates, each trim is good for 33 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.
Standard and Optional Features
The base 300h receives LED headlights, power-folding and auto-dimming heated side mirrors with auto tilt-down functionality when driving in reverse, roof rails, keyless entry with push-button ignition, an illuminated entry system, dual-zone automatic climate control, a remote touchpad, perforated simulated-leather interior trim (NuLuxe), power-adjustable front seats, a power tilt-and-telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a rearview camera. Through the available Premium Package, improved LED daytime running lights with turn signals, a moonroof, memory functions for the driver’s seat, steering-wheel, and side mirrors, 18-inch wheels, and heated and ventilated front seats will be provided. A Navigation Package will yield an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink.
Premium LED headlights with an adaptive front lighting system, a windshield wiper de-icer, rain-sensing wipers, a power open-and-close rear door, a hands-free liftgate, heated front seats, and power-folding and -reclining rear seats can be added separately. The Luxury comes with the rain-sensing wipers, moonroof, improved LED daytime running lights, memory functions, and heated and ventilated front seats. It also gets a perforated leather-trimmed interior. The premium LED headlights with adaptive front lighting, windshield wiper de-icer, power open-and-close rear door, hands-free liftgate, and power-folding and -reclining rear seats are still optional.
The F Sport Black Line Special Edition isn’t eligible for most of those add-ons, and it loses the leather-trimmed interior in favor of the NuLuxe one; however, it does outfit the hands-free liftgate. To make up for it, this trim gets a special F Sport front fascia, mesh front grille with smoked chrome trim, black mirror caps, darkened 18-inch wheels, a perforated leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, F Sport seats with enhanced bolsters, a black F Sport headliner, blue stitching on the seats, center console, and doors, G-force and turbo-boost displays, active sound control, exclusive floor and cargo mats, key gloves with blue stitching, aluminum pedals, and Zero Halliburton lightweight travel cases that can be shipped directly to the address of your choice.
Safety and Technology
The Lexus Safety System+ 2.0 suite of active driver aids is provided in each trim. This includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane tracing assist, road sign assist, all-speed dynamic radar cruise control, intelligent high beams, and lane departure alert with steering assist. A blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert is also provided across the board. The 300h and Luxury qualify for an intelligent parking assist system with automatic emergency braking and a panoramic view monitor. The F Sport Black Line Special Edition comes with the parking system, but it can’t be outfitted with the panoramic view monitor.
The 300h supplies a Lexus Multimedia System with an 8-inch touchscreen and voice recognition, a premium eight-speaker audio system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Lexus Enform Service Connect, an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot, and Bluetooth connectivity. Two packages are available: Navigation and Navigation/Mark Levinson Audio. The Navigation Package issues a multimedia system with a 10.3-inch split-screen display and navigation, a premium 10-speaker audio system, Lexus Enform Destination Assist, and Dynamic Voice Command.
The Navigation/Mark Levinson Audio Package provides those same features, but it replaces the 10-speaker audio system with a premium 14-speaker Mark Levinson surround sound one. The Luxury adds the 10.3-inch display with Dynamic Voice Command and navigation, but Enform Destination Assist and either the 10-speaker or Mark Levinson audio system are available. The F Sport Black Line Special Edition comes with the tech features from the 300h.
